John joined ASC in 1989 when we were heavily involved with projects at O'Hare International Airport. He is presently our Director of Field Operations for the Chicago Metropolitan Area. His project assignments have included not only airports, but primary control surveys, GPS surveys, and land acquisition projects. From 1994 to 1999 he was our Project Manager for a 23-mile long land acquisition project for the Illinois State Toll Highway Authority, which also included 17 miles of crossroads. This project, which included the preparation of digital ortho-photos and a digital vector base, included over 2,000 parcels.

John also served as field officer for an 855-square-mile First Order GPS control survey for Will County, Illinois, which required coordinates for 1600 section and quarter corners, and the setting of 120 GPS 3D Monuments.

John has a B.S. in Civil Engineering (1985) from Southern Illinois University.
